The Landhotel Salmen in Oberkirch was a delightful stay. The room was quiet and had a lovely view of the garden. The pool was clean and enjoyable, with a beautiful design. The restaurant offered excellent dinner options and a varied, delicious breakfast. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful.
Couldn't fault.

The friendly and very accomadating staff!
It is located on a busy road. The road winds around the hotel and is at a reasonable slope, so one is steadily aware of the traffic. There is no air conditioning and who would want any anyway, with the lovely fresh feeling all around. Take earplugs! Set your mind to it! I'll be back!

A restful stay in a truly charming family-run hotel. Excellent dinner ,varied and generous menu, warm welcome, spacious and impeccable room with balcony and large and comfortable bed, in a pretty village 3 km north of Oberkirch. The location is peaceful,in a wine-growing valley of hills and woods, despite being relatively close to the main Rhine motorway axes and Strasbourg. We were passing through but would have liked to stay longer. The pool/spa looked nice - didn't have time to try it.We chose this hotel initially because the restaurant is open on Monday evenings, unlike many in France.
The address is given as Oberkirch, but is in fact at Ringelbach, a short distance to the north. The Google pin is accurate. Beware- there appears to be a gasthof with the same name in the town of Oberkirch.

Great hotel with first-rate service, spacious and well-appointed rooms, and an excellent breakfast buffet. The swimming pool was a nice added bonus, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Plus, the location was perfect for our needs - close to our business meetings and easy to get around the area.
The limited restaurant options in the area, but the hotel's restaurant was good and had delicious options. a great stay and we would definitely consider coming back for another business trip or personal vacation.

We arrived with our large dog and were given an excellent welcome. The owner and his wife and some staff speak excellent English and could not be more helpful. Our room was large and comfortable. The beds and bedding were as good as home. The restaurant served excellent local food in a pleasant atmosphere and the restaurant staff were extremely flexible on providing different combinations of food to suit. Our dog Lottie was made very welcome and was able to be with us during meals on the terrace. The swimming pool facilities were superb and the pool warm! We were left feeling that we would like to come back at sometime as our experience of this hotel has been excellent in everything - even to a farewell present from the owner.
We have nothing to report here.

This hotel is very nice. The staffs, special the owner is extremely friendly and they speak excellent English. There is no communication problem for the foreign peopel. The owner is very familiar with the surrounding area in black forest. He gave us tons/tons suggestion/guideline when we made trip in Baden-Baden, Freiberg, Titisee, and Triberg… The location is perfect if you are looking for a quite, calm holiday place, that is the right place to go and it locates in a very nice valley (up/down hill). But you do need a car when you get there. There is train station about 2.5km away from hotel. The view in that area is fantastic, lots of vineyard, cherry tree, even though strawberry. The BK is also very nice, fruit, ham, bread…The ladies in the BK room are very kind. The room is very clean. During my trip, I was told by real estate agent to sign my house contract and I just purchased a house in US. The owners help me through it. The whole team in this valley hotel is extremely nice and I am greatly appreciating their efforts and recommend to anyone if you are looking for a nice place during holiday, then this is the right place to stay.
there is no air condition at room

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming hotel in a quiet suburb. The hotel itself is small and cozy, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. One of the highlights of my stay was the attention to detail. The room provided all the comforts of home, and even had a collection of children's books, card games, and vintage video cassettes that entertained my little ones. It was a thoughtful touch that made our stay truly special. Additionally, the breakfast offered a good variety of options and the service was impeccable.
All in all, my experience at this hotel was exceptional and I have no complaints whatsoever.
